The Horse & Trumpet is situated between Loughborough and Syston, in the beautiful village of Sileby. It fronts the High Street opposite St. Mary’s church which dates back to the 12th century and has a medieval bell tower, one of only 4 grade 2 listed churches in the country.
The Horse & Trumpet offers 5 hand pulled real ales and 2 traditional Scrumpy Ciders, alongside continental lagers and fruit beers.
The Horse & Trumpet offers an al fresco seating area and private car park which catches the afternoon sun. It is ideally located for refreshment after a long walk along the banks of the Soar. Well behaved dogs are welcome at the Horse & Trumpet in the bar areas and garden with water bowls provided.
The skittle alley has been transformed into a fantastic function room for parties of up to 70 people; there are two open fires, a dart board and four trading areas for you to get comfy and enjoy the great beer. A traditional range of freshly made cobs are available, but no hot food is served. Clive the Landlord is always happy to welcome you and discuss your party’s requirements.
